17" Action Marine Boat:

This was my speed boat, it is a 17 foot Action Marine. These boats were made in Hollywood Fla. I bought this boat and rebuilt it as you see it here. I put a Yamaha 175 out-board engine on it. The boat would run about 72mph in fairly smooth water any faster you couldn't keep it from lifting out of the water. I took it out in the ocean one day with a kid that worked for me and we hit waves about 8 foot high, when I loaded the boat on the trailer I had a 16" crack in the hull I thought I would after flying through the air in the ocean. (This boat was designed for calm waters and speed). The paint I used was All Grip in Mariner Blue.
