Extra slack in the wires so if there should be a problem with the connectors at any time the wires can be moved and
new connectors installed. All connectors have Dielectric Grease to prevent moisture from entering the connection.

This picture is showing the wires passing through the steel roof. Scott always protects metal or aluminum surfaces
with a rubber grommet even though there will be a weather cap filled with sealant to prevent leaks and wire chaffing.

All connectors have Dielectric Grease to prevent moisture from entering the connection. Scott has room in the big loop
of wires should he ever need to replace the connectors. MotoSat recommends more of a loop within the plate rails
which is how we install a customers equipment. Notice the sealant over all of the stainless screws through the roof, this
is under the plate only around each screw and on each hole. It is not recommended to completely seal the plate to the
roof this will only trap the moisture and create problems. Customers that have equipment and want to move it to another
motor home or trailer can purchase another mounting plate and wire harness kit from us and have it installed on the new
vehicle. The old plate and wires should remain with the old unit to protect the roof holes. This would also be a benefit to
       a potential buyer.
